Zeynep's Story:

Zeynep is 10 years old and the most curious student in her class. Since she doesn't have a computer at home, she has to go to the internet cafe. Because she asks her parents for money to use the internet cafe, there is always an argument at home.

Together we will set up a safe and free space for Zeynep to do her homework.

Mehmet's Story:

Mehmet, 14 years old, is very good at math and is very interested in technology. However, he cannot have a computer because his family's financial situation is not good. While his peers are doing their homework with artificial intelligence, Mehmet has a long time before he can own a computer.

Together, we will set up a space for Mehmet to learn coding, robotics, and three-dimensional design, and we will raise the engineers of the future together.

Technology for Children Campaign

Many children like Zeynep and Mehmet face great difficulties in their education and social lives due to a lack of access to technology.

With this project, we are developing children's digital skills so that they can participate more equally in education and social life.

Let's build an equal future for tomorrow's society together!

Why is it important?

The studies we conducted during the pandemic revealed that most of the children in the Esenyurt region have serious problems accessing technology.

9 out of 10 students do not have a device that can access the internet. This project aims to reduce the growing inequality among children and improve their digital skills.

What Will We Do?

01.10.2024 - 30.06.2025

Establish a free space where children can do their homework and use the printer.

Organize digital skills development courses for every child for 2 hours, 1 day a week.

Organize digital skills development courses for every woman for 2 hours, 1 day a week.

Who Will Participate?

150 Children between the ages of 8-14 and 50 Women with limited access to technology living in Esenyurt.

Project Budget:

Monthly Project Cost for 1 Child or 1 Woman: 580 TL (approx. 13 GBP)
