As Koruncuk Foundation, which has been working to help hundreds of children become well-equipped and self-confident individuals since our establishment in 1979, we have been providing shelter and care services from secondary school to university from "without the prerequisite of academic success" to girls whose basic needs and access to education are at risk since 2019 with a new vision. At Koruncukköy Urla in middle school and Koruncukköy Bolluca in high school, we enable our female students to access education and prepare for life in a warm family environment.
In addition to the free care and shelter services we provide to the protected children, we care about the academic and psychosocial development of girls. We continue to support girls after high school graduation and support their university education and professional development. With the Family Support Unit, we empower both the girls and their families to whom we provide shelter and care support, as well as other disadvantaged children and their families in the regions we serve. As Koruncuk Foundation, which advocates that children everywhere and under all circumstances have the right to access education, we provide regular support to convicted or detained students in different prisons in Turkey within the scope of our protocol with the Ministry of Justice.
