BASF Gönüllüler Kulübünden mesaj var! 19 Mayıs Gençlik ve Spor Bayramı’nda, Hataylı gençleri sporla buluşturalım!

Geçtiğimiz yıl yaşadığımız deprem felaketinde en büyük yarayı alan Hatay’da hâlâ bu yıkımın izleri tüm gerçekliği ve korkunçluğuyla duruyor. Büyük bir bölümü yerle bir olmuş bu kentte yaşam mücadelesi veren insanlarsa, içlerindeki enkazla hayata tutunmaya, kendilerine yaşama umudu verecek bir ışık bulmaya ve o ışığı büyütmeye çalışıyorlar.

BASF Global Çalışan Kampanyası kapsamında destek olduğumuz kurumlardan biri olan Hayata Destek Derneği, tam da bu amaçla, depremden etkilenmiş 1000 genci sörfle ücretsiz olarak tanıştırıyor.

Hayata Destek’in desteklediği Hatay Sörf Merkezi’yle 2024 yazında Defne ve Samandağ’dan 13-16 yaş aralığındaki 1000 çocuk; en az 3 defa adreslerinden alınıp adreslerine bırakılacak, Samandağ sahilinde kıyıda teorik ve denizde pratik dersler eşliğinde sörfle tanışacak. Aralarından seçilen 20 genç ise alanda derinleşerek sporcu ya da eğitmen olarak nitelikli birer sörf profesyoneline dönüşmek üzere desteklenecek.

Hatay, sörfün merkezi olabilecek bir doğaya; Hatay’ın gençleri de sörf lideri olabilecek potansiyele sahipler. Hem ülkemizin gençlerinin hem de saklı kalmış bir coğrafyanın saklı gücünü ortaya çıkarmak için BASF Gönüllüler Kulübü olarak bu güzel projeye hep birlikte katkı sağlayabileceğimizi düşündük!

19 Mayıs Atatürk'ü Anma, Gençlik ve Spor Bayramı yaklaşırken, BASF çalışanları olarak bir dalganın koskoca bir dönüşüm başlatabileceğini tekrar gösterebiliriz!

Bu link üzerinden büyük-küçük demeden yapacağınız bağışlarla, depremden etkilenmiş bir gencin hayatında, hiç tahmin edemeyeceğiniz bir değişiklik yaratabilirsiniz!

Message from BASF Volunteers Club! Let's bring Hatay's youth together with sports on May 19th, Youth and Sports Day!

The scars of the earthquake disaster we experienced last year still remain vivid and dreadful in Hatay, which suffered the most from this catastrophe. The people struggling for survival in this city, much of which has been devastated, are trying to cling to life amidst the rubble, find a light of hope for themselves, and endeavor to amplify that light.

As part of the BASF Global Employee Campaign, we support Support To Life, which introduces 1000 young people affected by the earthquake to surfing free of charge.

Through the Hatay Surf Center supported by Hayata Destek, 1000 children aged between 13 and 16 from Defne and Samandağ will be picked up from their addresses at least 3 times and dropped back, and they will be introduced to surfing on the coast of Samandağ with theoretical lessons on the shore and practical lessons in the sea during the summer of 2024. Twenty young people selected from among them will be supported to become qualified surfing professionals or trainers by deepening their skills in the field.

Hatay has the potential to become a center for surfing, and its youth have the potential to become surfing leaders. As the BASF Volunteers Club, we thought we could all contribute to this wonderful project together to unleash the hidden power of both our country's youth and a hidden geography!

As May 19th, Atatürk Memorial, Youth and Sports Day approaches, as BASF employees, we can once again demonstrate that a single wave can initiate a tremendous transformation!
